Hi all,
Please see below regarding the next GLOBAL WIC webinar
Join Early Career Women in Cardiology in their inspiring journey through 2020 in our next GLOBAL WIC webinar.
Dear all,
Please see below an email from the BSCI regarding a survey assessing access to CT training. They are grateful if all can complete it.
Dear trainees,
In recent years, capabilities and provision of cardiac CT scans has rapidly expanded, in-line with changes in national guidelines. We are keen to see whether training has developed in parallel with this.
As such we would be grateful if you could complete the following survey looking at the current issues and challenges to cardiac CT training faced by trainees nationally
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/96YPVFR
Your feedback will help us identify areas of improvement, that can guide the provision of quality, equable training and ensure that trainees nationwide have appropriate access to meet minimum competency standards for independent CTA interpretation .
Many Thanks
Dr Marwa Daghem
BSCI trainee committee member
Dear all,
Following on from the email the deanery sent earlier this week John Paisey has now sent around the form to be completed for those wishing to single accredit.
Find it here.
Please fill it in and email it back to John Paisey if you haven't already done so.
For those whom wish to dual accredit in both cardiology and GIM you do not need to complete the form.
Any questions drop me a line.

Dear all,
A few updates for you this evening.
1) Next Wessex evening educational meeting, save the date!
It will be via Zoom and will be great to see you all there.
This will be on 16th December at 19:00 via zoom.
Speaker: Dr Raj Chahal (HF Consultant, RBH)
2) GIM Accreditation
It is understandable that the recent email from the deanery recently regarding dual/single accreditation has caused a great deal of anxiety and a few have been in touch about it.
We are seeking urgent clarification on the 'paperwork' that is needed as no attachment was included in the original email and also the deadline for returning this, previously given as 'December.'
I am chasing this up and will be in touch as soon as I have more information.

Tom and Kri.
