Wessex Cardiology Trainees

UHS TAVI day and BHVS core valve day

Just a few events that may be of interest that Dr Shah has asked me to let you know about:

1.  British Heart Valve Society (BHVS) Core Knowledge day (7th November 2019 in London) and the BHVS annual conference (8th November 2019).

Core Knowledge - great for more junior registrars.

The theme for this years annual conference is 'practical decision-making in mitral valve disease'.  There are four 15 minute slots for registrars to present 'what would you do' case presentations (free conference admission for presenters).

Agenda for both and more information click here

2.  UHS TAVI day Friday 13th September.  For the agenda please click here.  To attend please email Dr Shah.

That's all for now.

Best wishes,

New Trainee Rep

Dear all

Firstly I'd like to thank Tom and Mike for putting themselves forward for the trainee rep position - we are lucky to have such excellent candidates. After a closely contested vote Tom will be the new trainee rep, I have no doubt that he will do a great job.

So that means this is my last post... I have really enjoyed the role and thanks to Ben and Hannah for suffering me! Finally thanks to you all, we are lucky in Wessex to have such a great group of trainees, who have been a pleasure to represent!
