Clinical Leadership Excellence
For Latter Year Trainees & Consultants

Description

There's so much focus on generic leadership skills that it is all too frequently forgotten that the primary application is in the clinical arena. This programme focuses very specifically on the building of intelligent leadership approaches and then applying them to the clinical context. The day as a whole is packed with insight built up into robust models and frameworks, practically applied in cases and clinical scenarios. Expect to be stretched but more importantly to gain a real depth in leadership capability in a modern form. Times are tough and this course is designed to help you lead clinically effective services in tough times but in a calm, steady-handed manner. We also live in an era of Duty of Candour and heightened visibility or inspection. Uniquely, this programme deals with these types of issues specifically, including such areas as culture around candour and preparation for inspections by the CQC etc. It's very comprehensive.
