Wessex Cardiology Trainees

Reminder - March 12th - Hampshire Hospitals training day (venue change to Basingstoke)

The HHFT training day is on March 12th.

There has been a change of venue and this will now be held at the Ark centre at Basingstoke Hospital rather than Winchester. We have an external training company coming. The day will be split in 2 with the morning dedicated to business case writing (Very little training for this previously and I can assure you all you will need to do it once you are a consultant). The second half is presentation skills. The external company come highly rated but I do want your feedback as to how it goes so we can consider using them again.

I also need to know numbers for catering as this is quite pricey at the Ark. Could you please email me on Dominic.Kelly@hhft.nhs.uk if you plan to attend.

Full timetable for the day to follow

Concerned about your training in Wessex? STC meeting next month

Dear All,

The next meeting of the Specialist Training Committee is taking place on March 6th. I've now taken over from Sam Fitzsimmons as the trainee representative and have the opportunity to anonymously raise any trainee concerns with the consultant body who deliver our training.
You will be pleased to learn that the results from the trainee survey have been noted with great interest, and I hope to feed back to you what developments have been made to address concerns.

Please let me know any problems you have by replying to this email, or via this link

With best wishes,
