Training Meeting - 18.30 28th September - Winchester

The next training day for trainees will be on the evening of 28th September.
The South Central Electrophysiology Group (SCEG) is a mixed group of cardiologists, trainees and allied health professionals, and as always, we are all invited to attend.

Venue - Hotel du Vin, Southgate Street, Winchester SO23 9EF
Time - 18.30 for trainees

For the September meeting, Paul Kalra has arranged that we meet early to discuss some trainee relevant topics and KBA questions before the complementary drinks and food!

The full programme for the evening is as follows:

‘Echo Techniques for the Selection and Optimisation of CRT- an Overview of Current Evidence and Practice’
Dr Badri Chandresekeran, Consultant Cardiologist, Great Western Hospital.

And a Debate:

‘The Future of Atrial fibrillation Ablation is Anatomical Catheter Designs, Mapping is Obsolete’
Dr James McCready, Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals (for) vs Dr Richard Bala, Royal Bournemouth Hospital (against)

The meeting is arranged by Dr. John Paisey, Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and supported by St. Jude.
