The 5th Aspiring Interventionist, 19 October 2010, Cardiovascular Training Institute, London Chest Hospital

A great one day course that is FREE to trainees. The course is designed for Cardiology trainees who have already achieved a level of competency in diagnostic angiography and are considering sub specialty training in interventional cardiology. Some previous exposure to coronary intervention as second operator is desirable but not essential. It will also be valuable for existing consultants who are retraining in PCI.

PCI Complications – management and troubleshooting masterclass’, 14 October 2010, Worcestershire Royal Hospital

This meeting will be of interest to all interventionists and trainees.
Continuing improvements in techniques and technology have made PCI an ever safer
procedure. Major complications have become less common, and consequently it takes
longer for most operators to acquire the experience to manage serious problems
effectively. This meeting provides a forum to review and discuss the major PCI
procedural complications and post-procedure issues, with an emphasis on sharing the
expertise of highly experienced operators
