A Career in Cardiology: An Opportunity To Maximise Your Chances, 26 February 2010

From Azeem Ahmad BJCA Coordinator:

Dear BJCA Member

Professor Tony Gershlick (Professor of Interventional Cardiology, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust) and Dr Aung Myat (SpR in Cardiology, West Midlands Deanery) have organised a 1-day symposium on 26 February 2010, Birmingham Hippodrome Conference Centre, aimed at all those Research and Clinical Fellows, LATs and FTSTAs in Cardiology who are aiming to apply for vacant ST3 posts later this year. (Apologies in advance if these details are not applicable to you).

I attach a copy of the brochure for your perusal. It should prove to be invaluable for those doctors in terms of completing application forms, timing of postgraduate research degrees, keeping up-to-date with advances in cardiology and ultimately, and perhaps most essentially, optimising their performance in the selection interview. Please do also pass on details to other colleagues who might be interested, but are not yet members of the BJCA. (To join BJCA, please go to: http://www.bcs.com/pages/about.asp?PageID=310)
